Bill O'Rourke served for many years as the first full-time executive
director of the Colorado Optometric Association. He was instrumental in
the formation of the Colorado Vision Service Plan and the Colorado Optometric
Center. Bill was committed to the belief that the public needed and deserved
to be provided quality, affordable eye care.
Formed in 1996, The William B. O'Rourke Foundation is a non-profit Section
501(c)(3) organization that has contributed almost $1 million to organizations
and individuals in the State of Colorado in support of Bill O'Rourke's
humanitarian commitment.
